High Silica Fiberglass Roving |
High Silica Fiber Roving is a kind of inorganic fiber (Na2O-B2O3-SiO2) which is drawn, unwinded and doubled from glass marbles that belong to a system of Na2O-B2O3-SiO2. It’s widely used for the high temperature-resistance insulation materials, high temperature-proof materials, high temperature gas and liquid-filtration materials and the thermal insulation of space crafts and wave-transmitting materials etc. The products include continuous roving, staple roving and chopped fiber etc.
Product Properties:
1) SiO2 content ≥96%
2) Softening point near 1700℃, long time in use under 1000℃
3) Low heat conduction rate, Excellent chemical stability
4) Good electrical Insulation properties
5) Non-asbestos and Non-Pollution
6) Good processing performance
(Ⅰ). Continuous Roving
BCT X-XXX SXXX
BCT: High Silica Continuous Roving Code Name
X: Filament Diameter (μm)
Xxx: Linear Density (Tex)
S: Twist Direction
XXX: Twist Value
For Example:
BCT9-120S180
Filament Dia. 9μm, Linear Density 120tex, Twist Direction S, Twist Value 180 Continuous High Silica Roving.
We also can make the roving as per the customer’s requirements.
(Ⅱ). High Silica Staple Roving
The product is made as per certain length for reinforcing ablation-resistance phenolic plastics.
