Instroduction
ECL PET GeoComposite coated bitumen is an asphalt reinforcement composite which combines a high modulus polyester geogrid with a lightweight non-woven paving geotextile. This composite is coated with bitumen to ensure strengthen the excellent bonding with the asphalt layers. Geocomposite combines with the asphalt layer to increase the tensile strength, thereby reducing tensile stress peaks and reflective cracking is also reduced, because asphalt having similar thermal expansion properties.
ECL PET Geocomposite reduces maintenance costs and extends the service life of the overlay.
